Kundalini Yoga

with Hari Dev Kaur Khalsa

A new session of Kundalini Yoga with Hari Dev begins June 29th however there are no classes for the week of July 6, classes resume July 13th.

The cost of classes are as follows:

*1 class per week  $90*    

*2 classes per week  $135*  

*3 classes per week  $170*

Monday & Wednesday 7:30-9:00PM and Tuesday mornings 10-11:30 AM

*Drop-in prices for REGISTERED students is $12 per class.  If you have NOT REGISTERED for classes and would like to drop in, the price is $15. * You can contact me through email: haridevkaurkhalsa@yahoo.ca  or call me at home 352-1584 to register.

All events at Care From The Core on the 2nd floor, 2054 Broad Street (west side of Broad between Victoria and 13th Ave) $3 for members; $5 for future members. Annual Membership $10.

It does not seem possible or real but here we are at the end of June and the launch of summer. Hang on the your hats and everything else cause it is going to be a fast ride.  Solstice was a week ago already. We anticipate summer all year and when it gets here there is so much to do and see, I hope you all have a chance to really enjoy the season and if on holidays, have a safe and joyful break.

I want to thank all those who came out on a very rainy June 21 to support our very first Practitioners Awareness Day. We are so thankful to you for your enthusiasm and we had a really successful day. I an very sure we will do it again and will keep you posted on that. 

Many thanks to our Practitioners who gave their time to (for no money I might add) show what they do and many, many thanks to our Board members Bonnie Bogner, Bill Little and Laurie Schnell, Elita Patterson and to superstar volunteer Shayna Stock for organizing this great day. Thanks also to Donalda for her help on the register table. Thanks to all of you for your help and support. It all works because of you.

Another Thank you to all those who supported our first Medicine Wheel for Summer Solstice. On June 21 we constructed a temporary wheel with a perimeter of river stones and the quandrants were made of crystal. We used yellow calcite in the East, sodalite in the South, red jasper in the West and clear quartz in the North. The centre was a new white pillar candle set on a mirror and it was circled by rose quartz and amethyst. We had a meditation and afterwards we had a drumming circle facilitated by another Board member Maxine MacPherson. Maxine brought her collection of drums and percussion insruments so we had enough for the 20+ people who attended. Thank you Maxine it was perfect end to a very special day. We won't talk about the Autumnal Equinox yet because we are going to bask in and enjoy the Summer.

As I said last week, there will be no newsletter next week and I will be doing them bi-weekly for the summer. If there are announcements necessary in between we will send out an email.
