work, newsletter, Board of Directors, fund-raising, teaching, mini-treatments,
program planning, hostess, baker, cheering us on from the sidelines, or
create your own niche. All are needed.”
Board

Are you excited by what you have heard in regards to Care From The Core?
Can you see yourself directing your energies to building a successful
organization? Are you willing to join a committed, dedicated team to guide
the organization through the next year? Do you have the time to commit?
It is not an onerous job, but you must have time to serve on one committee,

Committees:
We have many committees that help CFTC conduct its affairs in an effective
manner and some fun-filled events planned for the coming year. We are
looking for creative and able people to help us.
Office Help:
We are in need of volunteers for various duties, following are examples:
- minding the office
when ED has to be elsewhere,
- clerical tasks
throughout the month,
- joining others
in a once a month cleaning of the office,
- food preparation
for serving at workshops,
- repair work, painting,
carpentry stuff.
Newsletter:
The newsletter allows us to reach, teach and inform our member-ship in
regards to what is going on in the organization. Do you have a desire
to editorialize, prothlesize, and have fun writing? Perhaps our newsletter
would give you that venue. Call us if you are interested. (Some skills
in these areas are required.)
Mini-Treatments:
We frequently go to offices and organizations to speak about and demonstrate
the efficacy of complementary modalities. If you are a practitioner and
would like to take part in these activities, please contact us.
Facilitating:
Some, though definitely not all, of our facilitating is done on a volunteer
basis. Frequently our work with youth and children uses volunteers in
an elder capacity and also in other areas. If you are interested in facilitating,
please contact us. If you have a class or workshop you would like to provide
through CFTC, please call.
